We’re Bringing Fibre to Fourth Line—With Your Support
Standard Broadband is excited to announce the potential expansion of our Fibre to the Home (FTTH) network to residents along Fourth Line, between 15 Side Road and Guelph Line.
If you’re on this page you likely received our Letter that was mailed out on April 25, 2025. As mentioned in our letter we are reaching out to gauge interest and determine if there’s enough community support to begin construction on our FTTH network along Fourth Line south of 15 Side Road. It is our understanding that another provider has received government funding for a similar project in the area, however construction has yet to begin—and residents like you are still waiting for fast, reliable fibre-optic service.
The following Internet services will be available to you using our FTTH network. Along with our Internet we also offer a complete Television service and Digital Home Phone.
FTTH 100Mbps
- 100Mbps Download
- 100Mbps Upload
- Unlimited Bandwidth
FTTH 250Mbps
- 250Mbps Download
- 250Mbps Upload
- Unlimited Bandwidth
FTTH 500Mbps
- 500Mbps Download
- 500Mbps Upload
- Unlimited Bandwidth
To move forward with this project, we’re looking for interest from 75% of the homes on Fourth Line, each willing to subscribe to one of our internet services with a 3-year commitment. If you’re interested in having our service please complete the form on the right hand side of this page. This form is not a contract—it’s simply a way for us to gauge community interest.
If we reach our goal by May 31, 2025, we’ll contact everyone who expressed interest and begin the next steps. If we fall short, we’ll reach out to those who did respond to discuss alternative options that may be available.
We would expect construction to be completed and service to be available by late Aug 2025 if there is enough commitment by May 31, 2025. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact us at sales@standardbroadband.ca.
